As a planning and design strategy for the apartment, we have chosen to go for three main materials that, in terms of their impact on space, are the most significant:
Natural stone, wood and glass. Natural stone for flooring and wall cladding, wood as cladding for carpentry, and glass for transparent partitions. These materials form surfaces or volumes within the apartment and the tension created between them created a sense of luxury.
The design draws inspiration from the luxury Italian fashion house Minotti which stands out for its elegant and meticulous line, quality finishing materials such as rich textiles and aluminum wood and glass combinations and their assimilation into the home space.
TO ENHANCE THE FEELING OF LUXURY AND GIVE A QUIET BACKGROUND THAT WILL NOT COMPETE WITH FURNITURE BUT AT THE SAME TIME CREATE A SENSE OF DEPTH, PLAY OF LIGHT AND SHADOW AND MOVEMENT THROUGHOUT THE DAYTIME, WE HAVE CHOSEN A PALERMO RUG.
THE CARPET IS MADE OF WOOL AND TENSEL AND IS CHARACTERIZED BY A UNIFORM AND BRIGHT SHADE THAT CHANGES FROM THE VIEWER'S GAZE.
This is thanks to the three-dimensional geometry of the lateral and height rhombuses that make up the carpet.
