VEIL is a delicate layer that hides and reveals at the same time. Flaring lines in shades of mint green, gray-blue and cream create an enveloping sense of movement — like a mist stroking the edges. The carpet is woven by hand, in techniques that allow working in thin layers of material, with delicate textures that connect its parts. Each area is constructed as a layer that suggests — but does not tell everything. Gadi Carmel created VEIL with the understanding that it is precisely in what is hidden — lies the true power.
