SWELL is a gentle wave of movement – a slow expansion of material, color, and line. Green and grayish layers merge into a graphic drawing reminiscent of sea flowers or leaves unfurling in the wind. The rug is hand-woven with meticulous attention to a delicate sculptural texture, emphasizing flowing lines and transitions between open and closed forms. The composition remains fluid – yet precise. Gadi Carmel's design was born from observing the moment nature breathes – and expands.
