ORCHARD IS URBAN NATURE IN TEXTILE INTERPRETATION. PETALS IN SAND AND WHITE SHADES WORK OUT IN A FREE STRUCTURE — INFORMAL, BUT FULL OF BALANCE. The tapestry is hand-woven using techniques that combine textile depth with a shapely flow. It has a soft, almost Bhutanese movement -- but always with a look to the city. The design by Gadi Carmel asks how to bring the delicacy of a leaf -- into the heart of the living room.
