MONTANE IS A COMPOSITION BUILT FROM BLOCKS OF LIGHT. Top view of a city map depicting a route of traffic — not in traffic lights, but in emotions. Shades of cream, beige, cream and gray meet in rounded lines -- like buildings many have seen. Carpet is hand-woven, with varying texture producing a sense of height and depth. Gadi Carmel's design was born with a view of a landscape — one that is not seen, but remembered.
