MELROSE IS A LONG WALK BETWEEN FORMS. A rectangular carpet with touches of white, beige, light brown and gray -- like layers of memories preserved on one floor. We will weave by hand, cleverly combining sharp lines with soft transitions. The Grid doesn't control -- it's intentional. The form speaks a language of order that also understands chaos. Gadi Carmel's design is a tribute to the architecture of the city -- as she recalls herself.
