THE HEIRLOOM RUG IS BUILT LIKE A MEMORY LAYER -- A TEXTURE THAT FLUTTERS TO THE DETAILS OF TRADITIONAL WEAVES, BUT TRANSLATES INTO AN UP-TO-DATE ABSTRACT. Hearth, stone and cream tones create a dialogue between tenderness and shade, between what melts and what remains. The tapestry is woven with meticulous handwork, from natural materials, and was created as a result of the meeting between aesthetic root and contemporary delicacy. The design of Gadi Carmel connects generations: the past is preserved in the fabric, the present is reorganized in an open form.
