GLINT SEEKS TO CAPTURE WHAT IS DIFFICULT TO GRIP -- LIGHT REFRACTION, TINY MOTION, A FLICKER THAT APPEARS AND DISAPPEARS. Its precise spiral shape breaks down into soft shades of warm pink, cream and gray, which move around a central focus like the movement of still water. The carpet is hand-woven using traditional techniques, adhering to a high level of finish and layered materiality. It embodies a dialogue between movement and form, between substance and transparency — and transmits graphic lightness. Gadi Carmel's design is born from looking at the small details — those that usually disappear — and translating them into a design moment that leaves an imprint.
