GAZE was born from a desire to capture a gaze – not one that merely passes, but one that lingers and stays. A composition of dark, multi-layered leaves unfolds in understated asymmetry, inviting sensitive contemplation of the material, the line, and the tranquility created between them. The rug is hand-woven from natural materials only, using traditional weaving techniques that highlight every movement within the textile. Its dense texture creates a sense of material depth, almost tactile, inviting touch – and not just a gaze. Gadi Carmel's design is born from an attentiveness to the space, the client's needs, and the visual language the environment seeks to express.
