A composition of dark, multi-layered leaves is interpreted with introspective asymmetry, inviting a sensitive observation of the material, the line and the silence that forms between them. THE RUG IS HAND-WOVEN FROM ONLY NATURAL MATERIALS, USING TRADITIONAL TWISTING TECHNIQUES THAT ACCENTUATE EVERY MOVEMENT WITHIN THE EMBROIDERY. The dense texture creates a sense of material depth, almost tactile, that prompts a touch -- and not just a look. Gadi Carmel's design is born out of listening to the space, the needs of the client and the visual language that the space seeks to speak in.
