DUNE IS BORN FROM OBSERVING THE TRANSITIONS BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY — A FOG THAT DISSIPATES ON A DUNE, A SHADOW THAT BLURS ON WARM GROUND. The shades of sand, stone, turquoise and white are woven together in a composition that moves like a desert landscape with an aerial view. One side is graphic, the other is sketchy — and the middle is like passing between them. THE CARPET IS HAND-WOVEN FROM ONLY NATURAL MATERIALS, COMBINING TECHNIQUES THAT EMPHASIZE MATERIAL AND TEXTURAL DEPTH. The contrast between the compressed parts and the empty creates a soft but distinct movement -- like nature rearranging itself.
