BLOOM WAS DESIGNED AS A BURST OF NATURE — ORGANIC LAYERS THAT SPREAD OUT ON TOP OF EACH OTHER, LIKE A SPECTACULAR BLOOM THAT OCCURS BETWEEN SHADE AND LIGHT. The graphic lines are accurate, but the composition remains wild -- a reminder that real growth is never straight. THE CARPET IS HAND-WOVEN FROM ONLY NATURAL MATERIALS, PAYING ATTENTION TO THE DEPTH OF COLOR, TEXTURE GRADIENTS, AND SUBTLE SHADOWS THAT CONNECT THE PAINTING PARTS WITH THE CARPET BODY. Each layer there—colored or shaped—creates an open dialogue with the space around it. The design of Gadi Carmel was born from observing a plant that blooms exactly when it needs to — not fast, not strong, but correctly.
