HALO is like a halo around a memory – layers of color, movement, and sensation organizing around a quiet center. Its visual structure features a multitude of organic forms – floral, membranous, branching – in shades of blue, beige, and black, with touches of gold and graphic stripes. The rug is hand-woven from natural materials only, with meticulous attention to every line, groove, and silhouette. The contrast between different textures creates a sense of local movement yet overall completeness. Gadi Carmel's design draws inspiration from encounters – between cultures, between materials, between worlds.
